In Memoriam – Richard Wenning II

It is with great sorrow that WhereBooksDream must inform you of the passing of Richard Wenning II.

Rick was an incredibly and beautifully wonderful human being who was known by many as an artist, illustrator, devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, co-worker, and friend. His kind manner and gentle temperament offered warm welcome to any he came across. His artistic talent was indescribably unique, and the beauty of his soul was revealed and reflected through the beauty of any of his works of art, whether through watercolour painting, oil painting, or—his favoured medium—spray painting.

The immensity of our gratitude to Rick for his friendship, as well as his willingness to provide his special gift in the form of such wonderful hand-drawn illustrations for Sonam The Star, cannot be expressed through mere words alone.

We have no doubt that in his new form, he continues to create works of wonder, using the clouds, wind, sunlight, rainbows, and the light of the very stars as his new palette.

We offer our deepest condolences to the Wenning family, and to all those for whom Rick was dear.

May The Light Of His Love Reach Through And To You And Ever Warm Your Hearts.
