Happy Halloween!
Halloween.
That special time of year where the veil between worlds is thin and porous. That special night where all those from beyond may choose—for a time—to dwell once more among the world and the people they once loved. Halloween night…a gateway. A harbinger and invitation to that glorious dance that we know as Life. An opportunity, to reflect upon which aspects of ourselves are in need of burying, that we may rise from deep within renewed when the warmth of Spring’s gentle sunlight kisses the fertile earth of our Gardens.
Gardens are sometimes veils. And within each Garden are many worlds.
The Gardens Of My Imagination often act as this very gateway into another realm. And where It chooses to take me each time It beckons is a Mystery to which there is no true answer…and yet which at the same time is in and of itself precisely the answer. And each time I follow Its call to wander along Its paths I feel the traces of another story wrought into this world from The Other.
Gardens need us.
They need those who are unafraid to dance betwixt and between realms known and unknown. They need those unafraid to listen to the mutterings and heralds and histories and deeds of those long departed. They urge us to dance boldly through both light and shadow; to show us through experience that we are more. They teach us to begin to understand the stories that exist within the depths of our Hearts, our Minds, our Souls.
And so, as the light fades to darkness and the sun lays to rest, Dance. Dance this wonderous night in your Garden and be open. Who knows what amazing and wondrously beautiful things you will call into this world.
Happy Halloween
