Of Toils, Trials, and Tribulations
In our Gardens, some seasons come and pass with ease and grace.
We are touched and blessed…becoming beneficiaries to the fruit of our long labour.
Some seasons are less gentle. In their midst, we come to understand the meaning of patience and perseverance. We come to know the value of stillness and silence.
As the planet turns and the seasons bend, blend, and blur into one grand note in the Melody Of Time…our Gardens seek to grow.
There is tender timing, and delicate delay…the shock of drought, the threat of fire, and the fear of flood.
And still, our Gardens are rich and resplendent with the voices of Song.
They sing and speak of promises, they sing and speak of joy. They comfort us with laughter while we while away our time dreaming of better tomorrows. Our Gardens understand who we truly are. And with this knowledge, they provide for us the means to truly Be.
In my next illustrated tale, the main character knows within his heart that he belongs somewhere other than where he is. He is persistent, and adamant about finding a way to get himself precisely where he belongs. There is no roadmap other than his instinct, and he tries his best. Of course, there are tribulations along the way. Things are not as easy as one might imagine them to be, and he becomes no stranger to toils and trials. Nevertheless, he continues on because he knows there is no alternative. He is unable to ignore that which calls to the deepest part of his Being.
Work on the final set of illustrations has begun. Once they are completed, the publishing phase can begin.
